I'm Alive!

It's been awhile, hasn't it? I have a theory that when I get coerced into participating in a blog every day in a month challenge, I quit blogging altogether. So far I'm 0 for 2 with those challenges. I've also been in a bit of a slump lately with some unforeseen work things, the weather changing, among other things. I'm hoping that getting back into my blog life will help me out with that.

So what's been going on in the month or so since I last posted?

The Bungs went South. First we went to Savannah, GA. Two days wasn't nearly enough time there, I can't wait to go back again.

Then we headed up to Charlotte, NC for my cousins wedding. This is where my single most favorite picture of all time happened. My dad is a special guy... photobombing has become his jam lately.

Then I went to visit Jestina in Portland. Thinking about it gets me all emosh. Living far away from your best friend is really, really hard. But it makes the time you have together even more special.

Upon returning to Omaha, I FINALLY met Kati. We went to a concert downtown and giggled for hours. Today, right now, she's in LA to be on Jeopardy. Which is pretty freaking sweet.

I've been working hard on my crassXstitch lately and am prepping for the holiday season that's rapidly approaching. If you're looking for some homemade gifts, keep me in mind!

In closing, my coworkers are insane.

Please update me on your life. If you are reading this, I have missed you.

The thing that shocks me is that your friend is going to be on Jeopardy. I'm such a dumb ass, I even spelled it wrong. Thanks spell check.
