People are fah-reaking out about the flu right now. I think it's overkill. The flu happens every year. Yes, sometimes people die and that's sad, but calm the mother eff down! You can't live in a bath of Purell. I think your skin would dry out until you became powder if you tried anyways. Take a deep breath, wash your hands well (like you should be anyways), and get on with your life. End rant.
Thanks to Erin, I now want to steal a bunch of toddlers and play dress up after she tweeted these pictures of kids dressed like Golden Globe attendees.
80's John Hughes movies are my favorite. Like ALL TIME favorite. I can quote every single line from Ferris Bueller's Day off in my sleep. You think I'm joking, I'm not. When I was little I told people I wanted to be Ferris when I grew up. But what if these movies had sequels?
Mary Kate and Ashley movies. You know them. You love them. But which one really is the best? I say Winning London but this author disagrees.
I laughed so hard at this NFL Bad Lip Reading video at work that I choked and then coughed for 15 minutes. "You got an orange peanut? An orange peanut for me?"
Stars in workout gear. Why don't I look like this when I go to the gym instead of dying beached whale?
Tonight Andy and I are headed to the 'burbs for dinner with my family. My mom is making fajitas, yum. Fun fact, my family like to call them fah-jai-tahs because we are immature. Saturday there is a big Creighton game on TV so we will be cheering on our Jays. What do you have planned for the weekend?

It Takes Two!
Everybody is freaking out... and when people are all you have to get your flu shot..i don't add to the convo (i didn't get it, oops)
Mike calls fajitas that too. And accidentally ordered them as that one time in a restaurant.
HOCKEY IS BACK THIS WEEKEND!!!!!!!!! So we're watching that, haha.
i like to spray people who have the flu with lysol :)
Mk & Ashley were not my thing, but my little sisters idolized them. As twins, they gave them hope of becoming movie stars. Damn twins.
I'm going to go with Alissa and say It Takes Two wins it by a landslide. Too good!
And those kids. Whoevers in charge of all that is a god damn genius.
Jeff HATES it when I say ques-a-dill-a, and I only say it because I know it annoys him.
And most of the girls at my gym look completely put together and I'm just lucky I made it there, sweat pants and all.
HOLY Guacamole those kids are fah-reaking adorable. I'm stealing that by the way.
xx
Omg thanks for the links...
Kids look adorable.

Ian had the flu. 7 days and still with lingering affects. I plan to battle it out if I get it with stealth like skills..cry.
AMEN! I'm over the flu frenzy. It's really not a big deal.
I vote for Passport to Paris.
Two of my friends have this freak flu and I seriously thought they were going to die. The one... she looked gray. Like legit gray that people who are dying get. So I left her alone but made sure to ask that I can have her cute dishes if she does die. I mean, what are friends for.
But here I am, giving the big FU and finger to the flu, living dangerously because I am refusing to get a flu shot.
Can you eat Fajitas SKINNY JEANS??? Can you?
I've decided to call you Skinny Jeans until further notice.
Purell doesn't even kill the flu because the flu is a virus and Purell only works on bacteria. Viruses are way smaller.
And I am constantly grossed out by the fact that hardly anyone washes their hands correctly. Thank goodness for immune systems. :)
GAH! The flu. I work in a building where most of the patients are immunosuppressed, so flu is a big deal here. HOWEVER, for gods sake, get your flu shot, wash your hands, and RELAX people. I'm especially annoyed that the media is only feeding the hype.
