My Jack Skellington pumpkin. I went for something a little easier this year after I nearly went crazy using carving tools to create a cat last year. A cat pumpkin that I never even took a picture of. Lame.
Andy's Billy Blue Jay (Creighton's mascot) pumpkin. It's pretty ugly unlit, but it looks pretty cool lit up. He used wood carving tools to make it.
And then there was Bella. Bella LOVES people. All people. Especially kids. As soon as she figured out kids were coming to the door, she perched on the couch near it and waited. Every single trick or treater conversation went like this: "Trick or treat! I like your cat!".
Sitting and waiting to be told she's cute. She's vain like that. Also, her butt looks huge in this picture. I swear she's not that fat. She's actually lost a pound and a half! That's a lot for a kitteh.
So that's all the Halloween excitement (or non-excitement...) that we had. Oh. I forgot that I did 3 loads of laundry. PARTY TIME EXCELLENT!
How was your Halloween?

JACCCCCKKK! I carved a Jack one year, but I named him Jackie. He was a little fruity.
We played at game at Heather's last night called, "If a child comes to the door dressed as Honey Boo Boo, we will give them every last piece of candy we have."
No one did though, damn.
So sweet that Bella likes people and kids. Izzy's worst fears are: the doorbell, strangers and kids.
We got zero trick or treaters. I think they're too lazy to walk up 4 flights of stairs.
Booo for only 12.... we had 70 in our little hicktown! but totally different game over here! next year you can come hand out candy with us:)
yay!! I can comment on your blog again! my work computer decided it wouldn't let me a few weeks back. ha just so you know, I'm here every day, silently, and somewhat creepily stalking.
and I love your cat.
oh my gosh do I love it.
all thanks to that picture.
oh. and your Jack Skellington pumpkin?
amaze balls.
Great pumpkin! :)
Haha. Your captions are hilarious.
You forgot to mention the cut within a cut within a cut within a cut. Are you still alive?
Bella. Next year put a sign around her neck that says "Fo Free" and see how many people offer to take her. Then yell at them and say it is just a costume GEEZ.
Ours was equally exciting with a whopping 0 trick or treaters.
that is one good looking jack skellington.
AND OH MY GOD.
i almost didn't even realize that this isn't disqus anymore. november is off to a good start. as good of a start as november can offer us with no countdown.
Love the Jack Skellington! We didn't have many trick or treaters either! They went to our neighbors houses, but didn't come to ours! It just means I really need to up my decorations next year ;)
I love the pumpkin!!
So you have lots of candy left?? LOL! Sorry more kiddos didn't come by. You should see the obscene amount my girls got last night! Out of control!!
Sounds exactly like my night! We had maybe 20 kids, tops and they came in big groups. Banana Marilyn chilled on the back of the couch loving all the kids. Sadly, there were no babies (her favorite).
I have to admit, my favorite part is Bella Cat waiting for visitors. That's pretty dang adorable.
Oh laws, I dislike cats, but this made me laugh.
That never happens.
Hahaha Bella! So precious. My kitty is the opposite. She runs and hides and is terrified of everyone and everything.
