Where you will find me 6 days a week.
I weighed myself last week for the first time in ages. I looked down, and I had hit that magic number. The magic number that I had told myself for years and years that I would never hit. I hit that number +5. After I had my gallbladder out 2 years ago, I took that as permission that I could eat whatever I wanted 24/7. Turns out, that's not how it works.
So, Andy added me to his gym membership and I have committed to going every day but Sunday. So far, I haven't missed a day. In addition to working out daily, I am upping my nutrition game as well. I started using MyFitnessPal to track what I'm eating and how much I'm exercising. It's really helpful to keep you accountable, and they have mobile versions for all platforms. I'm planning on eating healthy on weekdays/nights and allowing myself a little indulgence on the weekends. If I don't, I will go crazy/get super depressed. I've done that before, it's not fun.
I WILL be taking Friday evening through Tuesday morning off however, as my bestest friend evar is in town.
What do you do to keep healthy? Any healthy recipes you want to share with me?

It's Friday, Friday... Whatever the rest of the Rebecca Black song goes. That's when I'll see you.
Girl! Our blogs are similar this week! I'm posting about my fitness experience tomorrow! I've been working with a personal trainer since August and my last session is tomorrow! You'll have to check it out! For me the biggest struggle was making time and learning how to work out and eat appropriately! I've learned a ton the past few months!

Your post title started the never ending looop of fergie in my head:
My body stay vicious
I be up in the gym just working on my fitness...
He's my witness (oooh, wee)
I put yo' boy on rock, rock
And he be lining down the block just to watch what I got (four, tres, two, uno)
...

Well played.
baaaah. Weight and me are not friends, but over the past month or so I've been working hard on changing my eating habits, and have even hit the gym for the first time in YEARS. I feel a gazillion times here, and I'm hoping I can keep it up.
Great job! I just watch how much I eat. :)
6 days! That is AWESOME! I barely do 3. I started using MyFitnessPal and it just pissed me off. Probably because I eat too much...Good luck with your fitness! It sounds like you are on the right track fo sho.
Well little lady we are doing the exact same thing! I got on the scale on 10/1 and decided it was over. I was past my personal limit.
I got myfitnesspal as well, for the most part I've been using it. I def slipped up on the weekends when I drank more calories than I ate all week. But, I've decided that's ok as long as I start exercising. I'm suppose to hit my goal weight on 11/5 according to the app, but am feeling doubtful :/
Yup the same thing happened to me. I got on the scale one morning and said What?! How did I put on so much weight. I started going to the gym 2-3 times a week with my mom but without changing my diet the scale never moved. I'm now going to start cutting the crap out of my diet and reducing the amount of food I eat.
Go you!! I've been watching what I eat and working out at home, but definitely not every day!
What the what?! A GYM over a COLDSTONE!? That is torture. ;)
I just started using that app, as well. So far (day one) I'm doing good. Tomorrow? That may be another story. ;)
Good for you for hitting that milestone! I am SO bad about making time to work out, I really need to figure out how to make that happen more this winter!
