Weekends are for Eating
Trying out the new Omaha Tap House downtown | The most gloriously delicious cheese curds I have ever had
Brunchin' it at Tommy Colina's Kitchen | Tiramisu cake, uh yum
This weekend flew by. Friday we went out to eat and headed to bed early. Saturday I worked off those cheese curds at the gym and Andy and I went to a dinner auction fundraiser for a local high school (Andy did a project for work there). I got all fancied up and didn't take one picture. Bad blogger. The bidding was outrageous. Someone spent $15,000 on a one week stay at a French ski chalet. And $5000 on four One Direction tickets for their concert in Kansas City. Crazy much? We bid on around 6 things, well rather I bid on around 5 things and Andy bid on one. I lost every single one of my bids and Andy won his one. Not fair.
Sunday night we went over to Andy's parents' house to celebrate his grandma's 86th birthday. I had some nephew time with my boys. Nephew time = chasing a 1 1/2 year old and an almost 4 year old while they shriek with laughter. I came home with cake in my hair and dirt on my clothes. Little boys are messy.
And this week? THIS WEEK? This week my best friend comes to visit. I can barely contain myself right now.
How was your weekend?

Flap flap flap flap flap. I'm going to flap so very a lot that I'll end up in OMA.
YAH! Have a good week :)
She's coming this week?
I totally thought it was next week. But now I remember Alocheese is this weekend...
Weekends are most definitely for eating. I ate a lot of goldfish crackers this weekend.
Oh that tiramisu cake looks amazing!
So much good food! Why doesn't it always seem that you eat the BEST stuff?! Makes my taste buds jealous. ;) I did enjoy a Sunday Brunch of pumpkin spice pancakes and a bloody mary, though. ;)
Think of the calories you burn chasing the little ones around! I count that as exercise.
The countdown to alcocheese begins.
You're making me hungry!
Ooooh the food. YUM! Everyone is talking about different yummy foods on their blog today and I get a new craving each time I visit these blogs, ha ha. And I am way too lazy to get off my butt and get a treat to curb these cravings!
I want to go to an auction sometime! I'm sure I'll lose, or develop an ulcer from the stress of trying to win what I want, ha ha!
I kept going back and checking my silent auction items. Andy was like, calm down, we're here to socialize. And I was all, NO WE'RE HERE TO WIN ALL THE THINGS.
And carrying those two lugs around. When Memphis sees me carrying Tucker, he needs to be carried too. And almost 4 year olds aren't light.
Sounds like some serious cash was floating around in your presence. WOW! Those bids! And you did it good my friend!
