LTs + Omaha

We started off the trip right with a trip to the Cork and Bottle. My parents and my aunt and uncle that were in town stopped by for a mule. Or two. Or three...
Saturday we went to the zoo and saw all sorts of animals. Including that baby monkey face.
I conquered my fear of birds. Kind of. Not really. There was an incident in the aviary that I still can't fully process. | We also went on the Skyfari. Which is a ski lift that takes you up and over the animals. It's for lazy people like us.
Then Chris and Andy showed up. | GERTS.
Jestina and I frolicking at the zoo. She's the small one in case you didn't know. | Butterfly gardens? 8th circle of hell. I was sweating on my KNEECAPS people.
Cali Taco. Cheese. | Bunheads at Tuckers. Which they completely changed and I was all upset about it.
We found mustaches. Of course we did. | Nachos and American Horror Story? Yep.
They make recliners for larger people at Nebraska Furniture Mart. Obviously we are not large. | Pitch = best ever. Especially the Shrooms pizza.
Then she left me. Back to the green and rain of the PACNW.
So I did what any girl would do.
I ate.

I woke up in a cloud today. She left the Portland rain with me. Along with a note.
I miss her. Long distance bestfriendships suck. But the times we are together make up for it. Every time.

I'm going to go and mope in front on the snack cabinet for awhile.
October is an extension of August's emosh month.

Long distance bestfriendships do suck! I recently reconnected with a friend from middle school. She is in North Dakota and I'm in Connecticut. She is my LT. We lost contact in High school and I recently decided to send a letter to her mom's house since I didn't know where she had moved. We know email and write letters but I really want to see her. But with my husband being unemployed we can't fly there and she just had a baby October 1st so she can't fly to see me yet.
I love adventures of bunheads.
Butterfly gardens are THE WORST. We went to one when I was on a work trip and I almost had a panic attack. My co-workers thought it was hilarious. Me? Not so much. Moths are admittedly worse than butterflies. Even small moths give me the sweats.

I'm so glad you girls had the best time!! I understand the long distance.... not that I met my BF through blogging. But I moved far away from everyone I love and it sucks :(

You are too funny. Butterfly places freak me out too. I don't like the concept of a winged bug flying all over/around me thankyouverymuch. Creepy.
