This weekend we welcomed Miss Ella to the family. Andy's cousin Ben and his wife Nikki (who also happen to be two of our best friends) are proof of people going into parent mode the instant of the birth of a child. Ben has perfected "the canopy", which is a move he created in which he cradles his arms under Ella as she is being passed from person to person, you know... just in case. They are going to be the best parents.
We also fixed all of our electrical issues with some help from the utility company. I spent most of the time sans power camped out in our living room with my iPad and a flashlight. That picture above is of the light fixture in our living room, which is original to the house.

Gossip Girl came back this week. For the last season. Ever. If Chuck and Blair don't end up together... we are going to have serious problems.

Tonight we are going to go eat some delicious cajun food and tomorrow we are going to a fancy shmancy silent auction event. Jeal? Don't be. We can't afford to bid on any of the fancy items, ha.

Have baby fever soooo bad... .2 out 3 of my drinking buddies here in H town are preggers.... and I'm sure the third is on her way!

I sometimes get baby fever too! And I'm sad that this is the last season of Gossip Girl. Only 9 more episodes :(
