This is a really important post. I decided to try out my journalism skills on my two large sponsors for September. I know a lot of people skip over sponsor posts, but you really should keep reading. For serious.  I asked my ladies the same hard hitting questions. Here is what they had to say:

If you had to be an animal, what would you be? Why?
If I had to be an animal, I would be a cat. They really do live the life. Lounging all day, being cute, fluffy, and stealing all the attention!

Backstreet Boys or NSYNC?
Oh... BSB all the way! I was in love with A.J. back in the day!

If you had to be a garbage man or podiatrist, which would you pick?
I would rather be a podiatrist. I imagine they get some pretty interesting work. It would always be keeping me on my 'toes!" {ha!}

Would you rather be Emily from Cupcakes and Cashmere or Sydney from The Daybook?
I love both of these bloggers! If I HAD to choose, I would choose Emily from Cupcakes and Cashmere. I can relate to her style more and am OBSESSED with her recipes!

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES! My favorite is Michelangelo!

Cupcakes or chips?
Chips... definitely chips. I love the salty over the sweet.

Why do you blog?
The short and sweet version: I blog to capture the beautiful things I stumble upon and document my journey to become a stronger person emotionally, physically, and professionally. If you had to be an animal, what would you be? Why?
I would be a dog.  For sure.  Especially my dog (specifically Cotton).  He has a pretty dang rough life.  Sleeping all day.  Playing with Taylor in the afternoon.  Cuddling with me until he falls asleep at night.  And then cuddling with me in the morning.  Tough existence.

Backstreet Boys or NSYNC?
I hate to admit that I went to an NSYNC concert.  So I'd have to say NSYNC.

If you had to be a garbage man or podiatrist, which would you pick?
Podiatrist.  Interesting fact... I have deformed feet.  My little toes sit on top of my adjacent toes.  After being teased about it for YEARS, I decided to have surgery for it during grad school, so I have a podiatrist.  He is a weird guy.  I think it is a little strange that he just walks in and grabs your feet and starts looking at them.  Another fun fact, I elected to stay awake for my feet surgery, so I watched him cut open my toes and everything.  He also pointed out all the fat I had in my toes.  I didn't appreciate that part very much.  In case you were wondering, the surgery didn't work so now I need a joint replacement to really fix my toes.

 I'm going to be totally honest... I'm not familiar with either blog.  They both look like they have pretty sweet gigs.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or My Little Pony?
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  I swear there used to be a pizza place in town that if you bought a certain pizza, you also got a free TMNT VHS with it.  Plus my brother was OBSESSED with TMNT and would let me play the video game with him sometimes when he was desperate.

Cupcakes or chips?
 I kind of hate cupcakes.  If you had said Cake or Chips... we would have had a real competition.

Why do you blog?
I started blogging because I thought it would be a good way to share funny stories/things that happen to me.  But when I found out I had thyroid cancer and decided to start sharing that, it became a whole lot more.  Now it is a place where I can be open and honest while keeping people updated on my life.  Having a blog was a real asset when I was going through my cancer stuff.  It allowed me to keep people updated without having to relay what was happening over and over again.
