Babynapping and Painting

Hanging out with a caribou at Krug Park | Pretty obsessed with the tile there
All giraffe everything for Nikki's baby shower Saturday | Some football snacks
Maizy was watching football too | Not much beats having a tiny sleeping baby on your chest
Saying goodbye to beige in the living room | Bella cat chillin' on the drop cloths while we painted

What a weekend. We started our Friday off right with a little nap action, then headed over to one of our favorite bars, Krug Park, for some drinks. Saturday morning I went to a baby shower for my lovely friend Nikki. Many "oooohs" and "awwwwws" were uttered. We then went to her and her husband's house to watch Notre Dame win (yay!) and Nebraska lose (double yay!). I also managed to babynap Andy's cousins twin girls (one at a time of course). You guys? The baby fever? It's at 103°.

Then we come to the part in which I have paint on my legs and under my nails that I can't get off. We cleared everything out of the living room and got to work de-beiging it. One coat of primer, one coat of paint, and 6 hours later, we're almost done. We have one more coat tonight before we're done painting. Then we're switching out all of the outlets. I should have a completed room post for you on Wednesday. But here's a sneak peak to hold you over:

What did you do this weekend?

ooh I love that green color on the walls! I had a little baby sleeping on my chest this weekend too, and it was nice! They are so precious! My baby fever is only topping out around 100 right now!

I am a fan of that green.
I'm also a fan of babies. Sometimes. When they aren't mine.

I love the color. And sleeping babies on the chest instantly put me to sleep. It happened with my niece every time. Best therapy ever.

There is NOTHING better than holding sleeping babies. Nothing at all.
