When It's Time to Party We Will Always Party Hard

Get down with your bad self.

Hey homies. How was your week? Mine was busy busy busy. I'm looking forward to this weekend. And also finishing my batch of banana bread cupcakes I made Wednesday night. Those things are straight SINFUL.

This song. Oh this song. Try to listen to it only once. I dare you. It's impossible.

With the Olympics going on, we're all full of our own respective countries' pride. As an American, I know we can be annoying as all hell. But here are some reasons to love us anyways.

Why did no one tell me that frosting a cupcake is so much easier with an offset spatula? I finally bought this one from Sur la Table and my cupcakes look professionally frosted instead of the mess that they usually are.

I want this. It combines two of my favorite things. Hulk Hands and drinking.

What are your plans for the weekend? I'm hoping to get caught up on these blogs of mine. I've been slacking over at Bungalow Books. And I've got a recipe roundup in the works full of delicious things I've made in the past few weeks.

Have a fantabulous weekend!

I will be waiting (not so) patiently for that recipe round up.

That's my weekend. That's what I'm going to be doing.

This song is pretty good. I'm jammin' over here with my cheerios. #baller

I love your silly Olympic themed finds - this was great, along with those photos of divers/wrestlers you've posted before. :D

I frost my cupcakes with a little rubber spatula. They look like a hot mess no matter what I do anyways... so I just try to eat them quickly so no one sees ;)

I just went to Sur La Table the other day and I said to my mother-in-law, "Why the heck is it called Sur La Tab? Clearly it is table?" and she said, "I guess that's how they say it in French." to which I responded, "The French are stupid!" There's some American pride for ya! Happy weekend!

You should do a hulk drinking hand giveaway and then let me win. Fo sho. And thank you, I will be listening to that song the rest of the work day!

I know, once I discovered the off set spatula I think I yelled at Matt about why this is so much better.... as if he even cares. But it truly is amazing. I have five. Because honestly, you never know when you need five.

I'm here....trying not to sweat my sweet ace off. It's only in the high 80's (I'm used to much hotter) but I feel like I'm melting. Bring some colder weather?

We were in the mid 80s this weekend and it was glorious compared to our recent weather.

Because four of them might be dirty. Or maybe one gets lost.

Thanks so much! Your blog is way too cute.

She was so sour the whole time. I don't get it.

This sounds like a wonderful idea. HULK HANDS FOR EVERYONE!

I used to call it Sur la Table instead of Sur la Tab. I was corrected constantly by my foodie cousin until I started pronouncing it right.
