This Weekend I Did NOT Wear a Maxi Dress

We had a nice relaxing weekend over at the Bungalow.

We started off the weekend with dinner at a little French restaurant during a downtown in Dundee. And, to prove to you that I own something other than a maxi dress, I wore this:

Shirt: Francesca's Collection | Jeans: Gap 1969 Always Skinny | Sandals: Target

Rainy Dundee.

Friday we went to a wedding shower for a good friend of Andy's, and there were four English Bulldogs that kept us entertained with their antics. They were seriously the funniest dogs I have ever encountered.

Pool time.

We then made our way downtown. The Taste of Omaha was going on, so it was a total zoo. We were able to find a table on the patio of one of our favorite bars and enjoyed the lovely evening. It was about 80° with zero humidity, which NEVER happens in Omaha.

Hanging out in the Old Market District.

Lofts. (Fun fact: Andy and I almost rented one of these before we bought the Bungalow, but we were outbid)

Then I needed a Moscow Mule stat, so we headed back to our neighborhood, which was peacefully quiet as everyone was downtown being crazy.

Historic Dundee.

We enjoyed a lazy Sunday that involved eating at one of our favorite Dundee restaurants, Amsterdam Falafel and Kabob.

Pretty flowers on our table.

Cool art on the walls. (I like to RIDE BIKES!)

We then went on a little jaunt to Sur la Table... in which we came home with a stuffed burger press and this lovely lady:

Le Crueset turquoise tea kettle.

Andy tried out the new burger press and came up with these:

Ridiculous. Stuffed blue cheese and garlic mushroom burgers. So delicious.

And now it's Monday and it's supposed to be 90° today and my hair is already freaking out, so I can tell the humidity is rising. How was your weekend?
